Recommendations

sanalithOne of the first things I’d like to do to get the ball rolling and perhaps generate some interest in the community is to offer recommendations of books, movies, theatre productions, etc. that pertain to Elisabeth and her family. I’m going to mainly stick to what I have personally read or seen, so if anyone has anything else to offer (good or bad) please let me know!
Clearly, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the article on Elisabeth from Wikipedia, which is a great place to start for those who don’t have a whole tone of background on her life. A good many biographies I’ve read seem to assume that the reader has a least a basic knowledge of 17th century Europe in general and Elisabeth’s relations in particular, so it’s not a bad place to begin.
